DIET, Namakkal.

District Institute of Education and Training in Namakkal began operations in 1989 under GO.Ms.No.1799, Edn Dt: 7.12.1988. It was established on 19.12.1988 and spans 4.38 acres at 53, S.P.Pudur, Thillaipuram, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu (Latitude: 11.214836, Longitude: 78.16536). The institute comprises well-built structures covering 36,770 square feet, including nine blocks housing various facilities such as administrative offices, classrooms, auditorium, labs, staff quarters, and a playground. The Principal heads the institution, with the most senior Senior Lecturer serving as Vice Principal. Additionally, there are 6 Senior Lecturers and 10 Lecturers working within the institution.
